Frequently asked questions

Klago can help you structure your complaint. This is not legal advice, and we can't guarantee any particular outcome.

Is this legal advice?

Klago is a tool that can help you structure your complaint based on the information you give. We are not lawyers, and the content it generates is not legal advice. We don't guarantee any particular outcome of the complaint. You are responsible for checking that the facts are correct before you send the letter.

Does Klago guarantee that I'll win my case?

No. We can help you structure your complaint clearly and completely, but the outcome depends on the other party and any complaints bodies. No service can guarantee a particular outcome.

What does it cost?

It's free to tell us what happened and see an excerpt of your complaint. Complete complaint costs NOK 79 and gives you the full complaint, a document overview and a PDF. Complaint + follow-up costs NOK 129 and also gives you reply letters and escalation if the other party says no. If you've already bought Complete complaint, you can add follow-up later for NOK 50. You pay per case.

Am I tied into anything?

No. Klago has no subscription — you pay per case, and only for the cases you choose to finish.

Can I edit the complaint letter myself?

Yes. The generated letter can always be edited before you send it — we recommend always reading it through and checking the facts before sending.

What happens to the files and evidence I upload?

They're stored securely and are only visible to you. You can delete individual files whenever you like, and you can delete the whole case (including the files) from the case page.

Can I delete my account and my data?

You can delete individual cases yourself. You can also download all your data from the account menu (“Download my data”). Contact us to delete your whole account.

What is escalation, and when should I use it?

If you get no reply to your complaint, or the reply isn't satisfactory, Klago can help you write an escalation letter to the right complaints body for your type of case (for example the Norwegian Consumer Council, Forbrukerrådet, or a relevant board, nemnd).

Who can I contact if I have questions?
