How we make our content
Our aim is to make consumer information easier to understand, so it's easier to know what you can claim and how to complain.
Our sources
We base our guides on reliable public sources: the text of the law on Lovdata, and guidance from the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), the Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) and the public complaints boards, among others. Each guide lists the sources it's based on at the bottom of the page.
Use of AI
We may use AI (artificial intelligence) as a tool when writing and structuring content, and Klago uses AI to draft complaint letters from your answers. AI can make mistakes. That's why we compare the legal statements in our guides with the sources, and why you should always read through and check your complaint letter before you send it.
Updates
Each guide shows when it was last updated. If the rules change, or we find a mistake, we update the guide. If you see something wrong or out of date, we'd like to hear about it at info@klago.no.
What our content isn't
The guides are general information, not legal advice for your particular case. Klago is not a law firm, and the content has not been reviewed by a lawyer. For advice on a particular case, contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) or a lawyer.
